Trees. Heritage. Community.

We are passionate about trees because they have been at the center of human existence for as long as we have recorded history and beyond. They are the anchor of our mythologies, cosmologies, religions, and spirituality. They are at the center of our daily lives as they feed us, heal us, become our shelters, and provide the very material which we use to record our wisdom- paper. They are representative of life itself because we breathe them and they breathe us.

Our vision is to teach communities that trees are a solution to many of the global and local issues that we face today – trees provide real services which improve air and water quality, cool urban landscapes, provide wind shelter, increase biological diversity, mitigate storm water events, provide food and improve human lives measurably by increasing the psychological and physical well being. Our goal is to educate and assist with preservation, as well as with the distribution of harvested edibles to people in need by networking with existing local charitable organizations.

Trees are apart of our everyday lives. We are practicing arborists who work in different states, different ecosystems, and in various communities across the country.

Heritage trees exist all around us. Because of our busy lives, we often don’t notice. They may be the three hundred old beech tree in your neighbor’s yard or the three thousand year old juniper on a centennial ranch. They are all part of this nation’s enduring character and history.

We are aware and committed to global solutions to challenges we face. However we believe strongly that the first step is to start at home. As the saying goes, “think globally, act locally.”
